The 5th of May in Japan is the Festival of Children, and koinobori (koi means carp and nobori means flag) are placed outside houses to wish them happiness, prosperity, joy and health. They fly in the wind and enchant anyone who sees them! Use them indoors or out, as a decorative object for the home: in a doorway, hung from the ceiling, hanging from a door handle, on the end of a bamboo cane, under a tree....the possibilities are endless! This carp must fly everywhere!
